IT HAS BEGUN

From JSF:

Scott's Miracle Grow developed a line of GMO grass for golf putting greens in the 90's, brought it to fruition in growing trials in the early 2000's, and then had a huge wind storm come through the test area and carry the seed for miles across the Snake River Canyon, into neighboring Oregon. There it has been found across a wide area, and it is threatening Oregon's grass seed industry.

Golf putting greens have a problem - the type of grass they use is not robust enough to keep out the invading grass from the rest of the golf course, so it is difficult to maintain them nicely. Scott's tried to overcome this problem by making a strain of putting green grass that was completely resistant to Round Up, so golf course owners could simply spray the putting greens with round up and be done with it.

PROBLEM: The genetic modifications turned it into a super grass that was not like the predecessor. It can overtake any natural grass and is completely resistant to round up. So efforts to eradicate it from the Oregon side of the Snake River Canyon have all failed miserably and it continues to spread in Oregon. Scotts has already spent $500 million trying to eradicate it from Oregon and has failed miserably, they can't wipe it out. This is a great case against GMOs.

Hey, everyone!

Thanks for coming by. PC was being bad, and posting otherwise is a PITA, so I've been on MINDS. I have tons of stuff posted there, and a great community of folks with various ideas as to how the world works, as Allan Weisbecker is wont to say.

Trump is in. No gloating from me. That's never been my thing. I'm a truth bomber, if anything. On MINDS, it's like being gifted a stealth bomber.

Desperation

Things are starting to get interesting.

Let's start with Monsanto. Not so long ago, the residents of Maui made their will apparent and voted against GMOs in their food supply. They didn't vote for labeling GMOs; they voted against their very presence. Monsanto performed an end-run around the wishes of the people of Maui.

From Jon Rappoport's latest piece:

Case 1:14-cv-00582-SOM-BMK Document 55 Filed 04/15/15: ORDER DENYING MOTION TO DISMISS ‘MIRROR-IMAGE’ CLAIMS ON RIPENESS GROUNDS AND CONTINUING HEARING ON MERITS OF THAT MOTION; ORDER ADOPTING AMENDED FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATION AND DENYING MOTION TO REMAND [the Atay Action to state court].”
V. CONCLUSION.
[snip]
The court adopts the Amended F&R and denies the Motion to Remand the Atay Action to state court, ECF No. 15.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
DATED: Honolulu, Hawaii, April 15, 2015.

GMOs were purported to be the answer to world hunger. I guess we shouldn't count the over 300,000 Indian farmers who committed suicide because they were cajoled into switching to GMO crops that UTTERLY FAILED.

Many countries have actually burned GMO crops in order to stop the spread of their genes. I and many others have written about this.

The 'equivalence' claims are an obfuscation of facts. Think about the constant back-and-forth between the lobbyists and the legal department in regards to this end. How long did it take before one of these idiots came up with 'equivalence".

What they don't want you to ponder is that, using the same train of thought, a plastic piece of fruit is 'equivalent' to a real piece of fruit.

I would go so far as to say that the GMO has more 'equivalence' to the plastic replica than to real crops.

I've gone too far, right? Let me remind you that it is a fact that GMO crops do not have the same levels of nutrition contained in conventional/organic crops.

Period.

Monsanto and other biotechs claim that the nay-sayers are 'anti-science'; that's a huge load of bupkis. Shooting incompatible genes into an organism and thinking that invisible changes aren't taking place is ANTI-SCIENCE.

Some items of note from GMWatch:

If Neil Young can get back to his former glory, I'll be going to a concert for the first time in many years.

We had so much promise in 2008, only for the exact opposite to happen. You can thank the revolving door between our government and lobbyists for that.

McDonald's market share is dropping like the cast of Hollywood Hillbillies going over Niagara Falls in barrels - hot and heavy.

This is funny - I've not heard of this: "their food is known as McColonics"

Jon also does a great piece on the idiocy of forcing vaccinations upon everyone. I won't repost his piece, but I'll bolster the argument with a simple analogy:

You live without locking your doors.

Your neighbor locks their doors.

Your neighbor insists that by you not locking your doors, he will get robbed.

Make sense to you?

Have a good day, dear readers.

The Power Of The People!

Happy Friday, dear readers!

I posted yesterday on the absolutely awesome efforts by the SHAKA Movement in successfully appealing the ruling by the obviously compromised U.S. Magistrate Judge Barry Kurren.

Just to be fair, here's a news item presenting Monsanto's views on the matter: http://www.kitv.com/news/head-of-monsanto-talks-about-battle-over-gmos/29974528

If you've never heard of the term "weasel wording", take heed of the preceding news item - this is Weasel Words 101. Print yourself a certificate in this course after you've read the piece - I'll sign it, if we ever cross paths.

I was reading Jon Rappoport's latest piece regarding GMOs and the FDA - it's stunning and to the point: http://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/2014/12/18/monsanto-science-and-fraud-are-the-same-thing/

He's spot on that our "watchdog" media has not only turned a blind eye to the dangers of GMOs; they've actively colluded with the biotech cheerleaders and the lapdog FDA in allowing what could be the vanguard of an extinction-level threat upon our world.

At this point, "labeling" foods as GMOs is an utter waste of effort - that should have been the practice back in the 1990s when genetically-modified organisms were first offered to us as an "addition" to our available foodstuffs. As you have seen, the powers-that-be do NOT want us to know anything in regards to what were ingesting. If this isn't true, please explain the tens (possibly hundreds) of MILLIONS of dollars in thwarting efforts to enlighten We The People as to what we're feeding our families and friends every day.

Hawaii is a special case - the climate allows for crops to be planted year-round. The biotech companies are pouring their herbicides onto the crops and into the soil all year, as well.

They are making money coming and going - first with their FrankenCrops, and again with their "herbicides". It's a huge scam, and we are all the poorer for it. We don't get crops that are nutritious; by the nature of GMOs, the crops lack the level of nutrients available in conventional and/or organic crops (chelation), and the soil is made less able to grow new crops by the inundation of the poison being passed off as "herbicides".

I don't understand - there's nothing wrong with a little bit of hard work. When I was away, I couldn't find work in my field - I had to be on my feet for nearly seven and a half hours a day. At first, I didn't enjoy doing it, but I got used to it, and the camaraderie and learning the ropes took away from the sheer drudgery (and I also got more comfortable shoes!) - it was all working out well, until the "incident" occurred, and I was unable to work at that point. I am still recovering, but I am working back in my field, and luckily for me, Microsoft's Windows 8 offering was so utterly unappealing to users that I didn't have to learn using it when I went back to my chosen profession.

Again, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the in-your-face conflict of interest in regards to Judge Kurren was made plain and appropriate steps were taken to fight against the kangaroo ruling.

I will be keeping watch of this - stay tuned, and have a wonderful holiday season, everyone!

The best to my family, my loved ones and my friends.
